Off-Broadway News The Tank Announces Further Eco-Forward Festival Programming

These are the shows that will run as part of this summer's TrashFest and DarkFest, plus more for LimeFest.

Off-Broadway's The Tank has revealed the show line-ups for its eco-forward TrashFest and DarkFest which will run at The Tank July 31-August 6. TrashFest features shows that seek to be zero-waste productions that reuse discarded materials while DarkFest looks to present productions that use self-sufficient and alternative energy sources. Additional works have also been announced for LimeFest which presents works by emerging artists and creative teams who identify as female, non-binary, or gender non-conforming. LimeFest runs August 4-27.

The TrashFest and DarkFest programming will include Caroline Couch's L'Histoire Du Soldat (July 31 at 7 PM); Gillian Beth Durkee's On Trash Monsters: An Eco-Tragicomedy (August 2 at 7 PM); Emmy Kuperschmid and Alice Nora's The Scouts (August 3 at 7 PM); Sarah Hough, Lydia Brinkmann, and Nathan Rtishchev's The Conspiracy Plays (August 3 at 9:30 PM); Elizabeth Shannon's here's to all the broken girls (August 4 at 7 PM); Catherine Weingarten's Self Help Me (August 4 at 9:30 PM); Jackie Bramhall-Heck's The (Final) Hole (August 5 at 3 PM); Play-Doh Kolo, Leo Tschopp, and Jeremy Pryzby's Namaslay (August 5 at 7 PM); and Rachel Ackerman and Reuven Glazer's Off We Go (August 6 at 9:30 PM).

TrashFest and DarkFest have also announced a double bill and two triple bills. The double bill, which will be presented August 6 at 7 PM, will include Gwendolyn Appenfeller's What Have We Done and Emma Chart's Encounters of a Washed Up World. The first triple bill on August 5 at 9:30 PM will feature David Anzuelo's DonkeyShowMe, Samuel Szabo's The Horrors, and Matthew Antoci's MEOW!. Rounding out the line-up will the second triple bill comprised of Victoria Provost's The Frightening Door, Leslie Bush's Clearly or Darkly, and Aparna Shankar's Imagined Mishap beginning at 3 PM August 6.

Announced for the LimeFest series of shows are Lavina Jadhwani's The Sitayana (Or "How to Make an Exit"); Amelia Bethel and Karen Loewy Movilla's Tia Talk; Abs Wilson and Wren Mied's All We Know of Love & Fire; Deniz Çam's 60 Days; Kait Hickey's ACT 39 (A comedy about suicide); Kai Xing Mun's Calico; Melissa Maney's Emily Dickinson: Star-Crossed Employee; Samantha Manas, Rachel Kenaston, Heather Denae, and Moira Hammel's Pitchfork Patty's Labor Day Special; Sabrina Gail Lobner's Little Marble Kisses; Leah Plante-Weiner's Bonefruit; Giovanna Dalla Vecchia's La Petite Mort; Hannah Weisz's You are Cordially Invited to Elika Strauss' Birthday Celebration; Juliann Lavallee's Nyad's Dream; and additional programming from Elena Jenson, Abbey Joan Burgess, Alaina Pacheco, and Needy Lover X Trove.
