Katori Hall's The Blood Quilt finishes its Off-Broadway premiere at the Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater December 29. The Lincoln Center Theater production began previews October 30 and officially opened November 21. Read the reviews here

The cast features Lauren E. Banks as Amber, Crystal Dickinson as Clementine, Mirirai as Zambia, Adrienne C. Moore as Gio, and Susan Kelechi Watson as Cassan. Understudies Eboni Edwards, Lynnette R. Freeman, and Maya Jackson round out the company.

Lileana Blain-Cruz directed the work, about four sisters gathering at their childhood home to create a family quilt in honor of their recently deceased mother. When her will is read, the family has to deal with a troubling inheritance. The play had its world premiere in 2015 at Washington, D.C.'s Arena Stage. This marked its New York City debut.

LCT's production features scenic design by Adam Rigg, costume design by Montana Levi Blanco, lighting design by Jiyoun Chang, sound design by Palmer Hefferan, and projection design by Jeanette Oi-Suk Yew. Theresa Flanagan is stage managing.
