Broadway's Cabaret revival is set to continue transporting audiences to the seedy Kit Kat Club for the foreseeable future, and Playbill has got you covered with tips to get the best seats in the house (at the August Wilson Theatre). We've scoured online forums for the inside scoop from past attendees plus we've seen the show multiple times—so we have tips on how you can pick the perfect view.

The August Wilson was renovated to accommodate this revival of the Kander and Ebb musical, cutting its capacity by about 200 seats to 1,070. This production of Cabaret is performed in the round on a circular stage—the seating includes orchestra seating all around the stage, including cafe-style tables, and mezzanine seating on four sides. With this staging and no obstructive set pieces, previous audience members said there isn't a bad seat in the house (though because it's in the round, you will see people's backs throughout the show).

The cafe tables does allow for a closer or more immersive view (and you may even be pulled on stage). These table seats also offer the option for theatregoers to partake in a pre-show dining experience for an additional fee, as well as working telephones which may ring for some folks during the show. Prices for these tables are steep, though. If you're worried about visibility versus pricing, seats in the more standard orchestra rows just behind the tables have a comparable view.

If you're looking to save money on one of the hottest tickets on Broadway, don't be afraid of the seats that are further from the stage. Several past audience members who sat in the mezzanine said they felt much closer to the action than expected—note that mezzanine four (located at the top of the official seating chart) is closer to the stage than mezzanine one. If you choose to sit in the mezzanine and find that decorative lamps are obstructing the stage before the show begins, don't worry, because attendees noted that they were raised before the show starts.

The table seats in the mezzanine on the right and left of the stage are marked as obstructed view, with a small portion of the stage cut off—attendees report you have to lean over the railing at times, though you won't miss anything happening center stage. But those seats do come with their own perks. Mezzanine table seats 301-302 and 303-304 are next to the orchestra for people who want to "come hear the band." Mezzanine table seats 401-402 is located right next to where Sally Bowles makes her entrance.

If legroom is a priority for you, several past attendees said their seat felt cramped (as is often the case in a Broadway theatre). For a little extra space, we recommend an aisle seat.

For a fastest exit to the stage door, the orchestra one section (located at the bottom of the seating chart) is your best pick because it's the area closest to where you enter and exit the house.
