International News Titanìque Musical Will Dock in Paris Next Year

The irreverent send-up of the blockbuster film Titanic continues Off-Broadway at the Daryl Roth Theatre.

The Lucille Lortel Award-winning Best Musical Titanìque is getting ready to say bonjour to Parisian audiences.

The hit musical, an irreverent send-up of the blockbuster film Titanic, will play the Théâtre du Lido on the Champs-Élysées beginning April 24, 2025. Jean-Luc Choplin will present the international hit, which recently celebrated its 1,000th performance Off-Broadway at the Daryl Roth Theatre.

The Paris production will be directed by the musical’s co-creator and original director, Tye Blue, and choreographed by Ellenore ScottTitanìque will also feature the show’s original scenic design by Gabriel Hainer Evansohn and Grace Lauchbacher for Iron Bloom Creative Production, costume design by Alejo Vietti, lighting design by Paige Seber, sound design by Lawrence Schober, wig design by Tommy Kurzman, and prop design by Eric Reynolds.

Paris will mark the sixth city to host a production of Titanìque. The musical made its Australian premiere in September in Sydney followed by a Canadian debut in Montréal in October and a Toronto engagement that continues through January 12, 2025. A London production, co-produced by Eva Price and Michael Harrison, debuted at the Criterion Theatre in the West End in December and will officially open January 9, 2025. A Chicago production is set for March 2025.

Parodying the Oscar-winning film Titanic, Titanìque finds Céline Dion commandeering a tour at the Titanic Museum and delivers her version of what really went down between Jack and Rose. The show features hits by the iconic singer, including "My Heart Will Go On," "All By Myself," and "To Love You More."

Marla Mindelle and Constantine Rousouli co-wrote the musical with production director Blue.
