The holiday closed out the spooky musical's month-long festivities celebrating the season.

Check out Broadway's Ghost-With-the-Most and the cast of Beetlejuice celebrating Halloween in style. The supernatural musical welcomed its last spooky season with a series of Halloween-themed events throughout the month of October. Beetlejuice will play its last performance at the Marquis Theatre January 8, 2023.

The Halloween festivities featured a Beetlejuice-themed cake baked by Is It Cake? winner Andrew Fuller as well as a curtain call and speech.

Based on Tim Burton’s cult favorite film, Beetlejuice tells the story of Lydia Deetz, a strange and unusual teenager whose life changes when she meets a recently deceased couple and Beetlejuice, a demon with a thing for stripes. When Lydia calls on Beetlejuice to scare away anyone with a pulse, this double-crossing specter unleashes a (nether)world of pandemonium.

Starring in the Broadway production are Alex Brightman, Elizabeth Teeter, Kerry Butler, David Josefsberg, Adam Dannheisser, Leslie Rodriguez Kritzer, Kelvin Moon Loh, Danny Rutigliano, and Dana Steingold, Michelle Aravena, Zonya Love, Kate Bailey, Will Blum, Ryan Breslin, Natalie Charle Ellis, Brooke Engen, Eric Anthony Johnson, Andrew Kober, Elliott Mattox, Mateo Melendez, Ramone Owens, Commodore C. Primous III, Nevada Riley, and Graham Stevens.

Alex Timbers directs the musical, which features an original score by Tony nominee Eddie Perfect and a book by Tony nominees Scott Brown and Anthony King. Music supervision, orchestrations, and incidental music are by Kris Kukul, and choreography is by Connor Gallagher.

The Company of Beetlejuice celebrates Halloween with a cake by Andrew Fuller Beetlejuice on Broadway

A national tour will kick off with a single performance at Caron Center in Paducah, Kentucky, December 1. Leading the cast will be Justin Collette (School of Rock) as the titular poltergeist and Isabella Esler as Lydia Deetz in her professional debut.

Beetlejuice debuted on Broadway at the Winter Garden Theatre March 28, 2019, and opened April 25. Its initial engagement earned eight Tony nominations. Following the COVID-19 shutdown, the show reopened April 8, 2022, at the Marquis Theatre with Tony nominee Alex Brightman reprising the role of the titular poltergeist opposite newcomer Elizabeth Teeter as Lydia Deetz.
