Production photos are in for All In: Comedy About Love By Simon Rich, which began its Broadway run at the Hudson Theatre December 11. Opening night is December 22, and performances will continue through February 16, 2025, with Alex Timbers at the helm. Get a look at the new show in the gallery below.
The work comprises Simon Rich-penned stories about dating, heartbreak, and marriage, all adapted from short stories that were published in The New Yorker, whose cartoonist Emily Flake has created illustrations for the production as well. The performances also feature live music from married musical duo The Bengsons, comprising Abigail and Shaun Bengson. The pair performs songs live on stage from The Magnetic Fields (composed by Stephin Merritt), including songs from the album 69 Love Songs, which Rich says inspired the stories that serve as the play's script.
And performing the stories is an all-star roster of Broadway and comedy favorites that will change throughout the run. John Mulaney is leading the first group alongside Fred Armisen, Renée Elise Goldsberry, and Richard Kind. Jill Abramovitz and Ben Steinfeld are serving as standbys. Goldsberry's run continues through December 30, and Kind's will continue through January 12, 2025.
Chloe Fineman is joining January 2, 2025, and performing through January 12. Lin-Manuel Miranda will succeed Mulaney to lead the cast for the final five weeks, January 14-February 16, 2025. Joining him will be Aidy Bryant and Nick Kroll through February 2, and Andrew Rannells through January 26. Jimmy Fallon will join January 28 and perform through February 2, with David Cross performing February 4-9 and Sweeney Todd star and Tony winner Annaleigh Ashford and SNL alum Tim Meadows performing February 4-16. Hank Azaria will perform February 11-16. Casting is by Taylor Williams.
