DESCRIPTION

Walnut Street Theatre, America’s Oldest Theatre, is seeking experienced and knowledgeable wig technicians for their upcoming production of Dreamgirls. Primary responsibilities including but not limited to: serve as a member of the wigs run crew during load-in, tech, performances, and strike; maintain care and styling of wigs, generate functional tracking sheets; set up and maintain backstage wig areas.

Ideal candidate is self-motivated and team-oriented with an ability to execute wig changes quickly and professionally and collaborate with wardrobe team. Capability to climb several flights of stairs and carry up to 50 lbs is required.

Start date 3/11/25 (flexible). End date 5/4/25.

Pay range is $18-20 per hour. This seasonal hourly position is eligible for overtime and requires night and weekend hours on a standard performance schedule beginning mid-March.
