Narrows Community Theater (NCT) is seeking experienced professionals to join our tech team for the 2025 season!

We are hiring for the following roles:

• Set Designer, Prop Master, Costumer, Lighting Designer and Sound Designer for 42nd Street (Performances: April 25-27, May 2-4, 2025)
• Set Designer, Prop Master, Costumer, Lighting Designer and Sound Designer for Spring Awakening (Performances: July 24-27, 2025)
  • Spring Awakening is our Young Adult Program production, featuring performers and a creative team ages 16-25.
• Set Designer, Prop Master, Costumer, Lighting Designer and Sound Designer for Hairspray (Performances: September 5-7, 12-14, 2025)
  • Hairspray is our Summer Youth Program production, featuring performers ages 8-18.
• Set Designer, Prop Master, Costumer, Lighting Designer and Sound Designer for Anastasia (Performances: December 5-7, 12-14, 2025)

Required Qualifications:

• Proven technical experience in professional, community, or educational theater settings.
• Experience working with actors to create a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment.
• Knowledge of industry-standard practices for safety in theater.

Rehearsal Schedule:
Rehearsals are generally held on weekday evenings and weekends. The specific schedule will be determined in collaboration with the selected creative team, but we aim to maintain a consistent and manageable rehearsal period. Any scheduled breaks (such as holiday periods) will be observed.

• For all other productions, applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis and will remain open until the position is filled.

Compensation:
Stipends are provided for each position. Specific details will be shared during the interview process.
