The Jordan Harrison play explores the limits of what technology can replace in the face of age.

Jordan Harrison's Marjorie Prime opens March 15 at London's Menier Chocolate Factory. Making its U.K. premiere, the production began previews March 3 and runs through May 6.

Anne Reid stars Marjorie, an 85-year-old woman, alongside Richard Fleeshman as Walker, Nancy Carroll as Tess, and Tony Jayawardena as Jon. The play explores the limits of technology and questions of mortal identity through Marjorie. As her memory begins to fail, a handsome new AI is programmed to repeat the story of her life to her, whether she wants to remember or not.

Dominic Dromgoole directs the production which features set and costume design by Jonathan Fensom and lighting design by Emma Chapman.

Marjorie Prime was a 2015 Pulitzer Prize finalist, has previously played at Los Angeles' Mark Taper Forum/Center Theater Group and New York City's Playwrights Horizons.
