Jordan Harrison's Marjorie Prime opened March 15 at London's Menier Chocolate Factory, and the reviews are rolling in! Making its U.K. premiere, the production began previews March 3 and runs through May 6.
Anne Reid stars Marjorie, an 85-year-old woman, alongside Richard Fleeshman as Walker, Nancy Carroll as Tess, and Tony Jayawardena as Jon. The play explores the limits of technology and questions of mortal identity through Marjorie. As her memory begins to fail, a handsome new AI is programmed to repeat the story of her life to her, whether she wants to remember or not.
