Atlantic Theater Company presents the play Off-Broadway at the Linda Gross Theater where it began previews November 17. Opening night is December 5, with the run scheduled to continue through January 1, 2023.
The play is set in the wake of the Chinese Exclusion Act, which was signed into law by President Chester A. Arthur in 188; it follows one family's journey from rural Taishan to California at a time when Chinese laborers have been banned from immigrating to the United States for 10 years.

The production features scenic design by Clint Ramos, costume design by Junghyun Georgia Lee, lighting design by Jiyoun Chang, sound design by Fan Zhang, wigs, hair, and makeup by Tommy Kurzman, and casting by The Telsey Office's William Cantler, Karyn Casl, and Destiny Lilly. Alyssa K. Howard is production stage manager.
