More Loud will present the world premiere of Barbara Cassidy's Mrs. Loman, an unauthorized sequel to Arthur Miller's Death of a Salesman, next year at Off-Broadway's Theatre Row.

The play, which imagines the life of Linda Loman after her husband commits suicide, will begin previews January 31, 2025, prior to an official opening February 5. Meghan Finn will direct.

This satirical critique of misogyny in Miller’s world will feature Monique Vukovic (Vandy in Peter & Vandy, God’s Ear at The Vineyard) in the title role with Linda Jones as Esther, Hartley Parker as Happy, Matt “Ugly” McGlade as Biff, Ara Celia Butler as Lena, Patricia Marjorie as Contemporary Woman, Jerry Ferris as Charlie, and Joe Gregori as Bernard.

Death of a Salesman is such an important play of the American canon,” says playwright Cassidy in a statement. “While having great admiration for it, I have always had immense trouble with the female characters and the misogyny. I decided I wanted to make a play about a Linda Loman who becomes a very different person after Willy’s death. Mrs. Loman is a play which, in Juvenalian satirical fashion, struggles with the world—first, Miller’s fictional world, then, our historical past, and ultimately, the here and now.”

The play was workshopped last year at The Tank, where Finn is artistic director.

Performances will continue through February 15.
