Reviews are rolling out for the West End transfer of The Great British Bake Off Musical, playing a 12-week limited engagement at the Noël Coward Theatre. The run began February 25 and plays through May 13.
The new musical is inspired by the long-running U.K. hit reality competition series The Great British Bake Off. Like the TV show, the musical follows a team of amateur bakers as they seek to impress the judges and battle their way to be crowned Star Baker. The Great British Bake Off Musical features a book and lyrics by Jake Brunger and music and lyrics by Pippa Cleary, and previously played Cheltenham's Everyman Theatre last summer.
