American Songbook Association's Third Annual Gala, which honors Stephen Schwartz with the 2022 ASA Lifetime Achievement Award, is held May 9 at Merkin Hall at the Kaufman Music Center.

Schwartz (Wicked, Godspell, Pippin) has been inducted into the Theatre Hall of Fame and the Songwriters Hall of Fame, and has been given a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. His additional accolades include three Academy Awards, four Grammy Awards, and the Isabelle Stevenson special Tony Award.
American Songbook Association Inc. seeks to preserve, promote, and advance the legacy of American popular music, the Great American Songbook (classic and new), and the unique art form of cabaret.
The evening was hosted by Rachel Dratch and Julianne Hough, and featured performances from Betsy Wolfe, Jordan Donica, Abby Mueller, and Stephanie D'Abruzzo.
Titaníque and RuPaul's Drag Race star Rosé hosted the Classic Stage Company benefit featuring Jay Armstrong Johnson, Linedy Genao, Nikki M. James, Daniel K. Isaac, and more.
Gathering support to fight anti-LGBTQ+ bills, the evening was attended by Zac Posen, Stacey Stevenson, Katie Holmes, Deborah Harry, Harrison Ball, and many more.
Hosted by Titaníque and RuPaul's Drag Race star Rosé, the benefit features Jay Armstrong Johnson, Linedy Genao, Nikki M. James, Daniel K. Isaac, and more.
The evening, held at the Marriott Marquis in Times Square, supports the fund's work providing services for those in the performing arts and entertainment industries.
