Streaming 2024 I Put a Spell on You Concert Will Stream Halloween Weekend

Jay Armstrong Johnson will again be Winifred Sanderson in the Halloween concert full of Broadway favorites.

The 2024 iteration of I Put a Spell On You, Jay Armstrong Johnson's annual Hocus Pocus-themed Halloween concert evening, will stream via Broadway On Demand for Halloween weekend. The concert event will be held live and in-person October 21 at Webster Hall, and stream October 27-31. Both in-person and streaming proceeds will benefit the Ali Forney Center and its work to end homelessness among LGBTQIA+ youth.

This year's roster of performers includes Tony winner J. Harrison Ghee (Some Like It Hot), Todrick Hall (Kinky Boots), Robyn Hurder (Moulin Rouge!), Karli Dinardo (Hamilton)Stephen Brower (Lempicka), Yeman Brown (Queen of Versailles), Max Clayton (Music Man), Heath Saunders (Company), Emma Sofia (Cats: "The Jellicle Ball"), Nick Gaga, ​Domanick Hubbard (Jesus Christ Superstar), F. Michael Haynie (The Heart of Rock and Roll), Jonte' Moaning, Kimmi Moore, Jake Pedersen (Wicked), and Trent Saunders (Hadestown). Karma Jenkins (The Time Traveler’s Wife) will be Dani Dennison, with Maddox Martin and Kathryn Priest as Max and Allison, respectively.

And, of course, back alongside Johnson as Winifred Sanderson will be Allison Godleski and Amanda Williams Ware as Sarah and Mary Sanderson, respectively.

Heath Saunders is directing the affair, which will feature choreography from Mike Baerga, Hope Melody Easterbrook, Tyler Eisenreich, Eamon Foley, Jay Armstrong Johnson, Reed Luplau, Leo Moctezuma, Jenny Oehlwein, Julius Rubio, Kellen Stancil, Theresa Stone, Michael Anthony Sylvester, Chaz Wolcott, and David Wright Jr. Michael Anthony Sylvester is supervising choreographer. DW is creative director. Jackson Teely is serving as music supervisor, with Will Van Dyke as music consultant. The music producer team includes Lloyd Kikoler, Conor Keelan, and Mike Pacifico. Ahmad Simmons is a creative advisor. Kyle Krueger is makeup designer.

The concert will also feature costume design and art direction by DW, with additional costume design by Taylor Barnett, Kelsey Buerger, Antonio Consuegra, Brian Hemesath, Sarah Marie Dixey, Cameron Loeb, and Alan Tude. Christina Vida Rolodos is SFX makeup lead. The performance will also feature props designed by Andy Diaz, video design by Brian Pacelli, additional video design by Jamie Kiliany, sound design by Josh Liebert, and lighting design by Andrew Garvis.

Johnson is executive producing and writing. Katie Rosin and Kampfire Films are producing with Andy Jones of Baseline Theatrical serving as general manager and Sean Gorski of Hudson Theatrical Associates as production manager. The executive producing committee includes Sean Cocchia, Todd Donovan, Andy Jones, and Tom Schumacher.
