The Keen Company has announced the lineup of performers for its 20th anniversary gala, held October 7 at the Manhattan Penthouse.
The gala will offer a sneak peek of the new Adam Gwon musical All the World's a Stage, which will have its world premiere at Keen Company this spring as previously reported. The evening will also feature performances from Jordan Dobson (Hadestown, Bad Cinderella), Morgan Siobhan Green (Be More Chill, Fish), Tiffany Mann (Be More Chill, Waitress), Zachary Noah Piser (Dear Evan Hansen, KPOP), Jelani Remy (Back to the Future, Ain’t Too Proud), and Rema Webb (Hell’s Kitchen, The Music Man).
Marcia Pendleton will be the gala's honoree. Pendleton has collaborated with Keen Company since 2019, working on shows including Blues for an Alabama Sky, Crumbs from the Table of Joy, and Fish. Pendleton also founded the marketing, audience development, and group sales agency Walk Tall Girl Productions, and serves as host of the WBAI New York radio show and podcast Backstage Stories.
Proceeds from the event will support Keen Company's upcoming season, including All the World's a Stage, a one-night-only reunion concert of Stephen Sondheim's Marry Me a Little, and the Keen Teens Education Program, which provides free mentorship opportunities to New York City students.
