A second single from Lempicka, the new musical about artist Tamara de Lempicka currently playing a limited engagement at California's La Jolla Playhouse, has been released.

The new single from Sony Music Masterworks' forthcoming original cast recording of Lempicka was produced by Matt Stine and recorded and mixed by Isaiah Abolin. The track was recorded at Berklee at PowerStation and mastered by Oscar Zambrano for Zampol Productions.

Lempicka, directed by Tony winner Rachel Chavkin with choreography by Raja Feather Kelly, will officially open in La Jolla June 25. The cast is led by Eden Espinosa in the title role with Amber Iman as Rafaela (ensemble member Ximone Rose will take on the role of Rafaela July 12–24), Abud as Marinetti, Victor E. Chan as Baron, Natalie Joy Johnson as Suzy Solidor, Jacquelyn Ritz as Baroness, Andrew Samonsky as Tadeusz Lempicki, and Jordan Tyson as Kizette.

The pop-infused musical tells the story of young aristocrat-turned-artist Tamara de Lempicka, who flees with her husband amid the political turmoil and violence of the Russian Revolution to Paris, where she finds success in exile and meets her new muse, Rafaela.

The production also has scenic design by Riccardo Hernandez, costume design by Anita Yavich, lighting design by Tony winner Bradley King, sound design by Tony winner Nevin Steinberg, orchestrations by Cian McCarthy, and music supervision by Remy KursPeter Duchan is the creative consultant.
