The world premiere of Your Own Personal Exegesis by Julia May Jonas completes its Off-Broadway run at Lincoln Center Theater/LCT3's Claire Tow Theater December 31. The new play officially opened December 5 after beginning previews November 25. 

Set in a liberal parish, the memory play centers on a youth pastor and a group of teens in a coming-of-age tale of eroticism and religious ecstasy. The cast featured Hannah Cabell, Cole Doman, Annie Fang, Savidu Geevaratne, and Mia Pak under the helm of director Annie Tippe.

The creative team features set designer Brett J. Banakis, costume designer Wendy Yang, lighting designer Jeanette Oi-Suk Yew, sound designer by Stowe Nelson. Original music is by Brian Cavanagh-Strong. Karen Evanouskas will serve as stage manager. 

Jonas' theatre work has been presented and developed with The Bushwick Starr, New Georges, Ars Nova, Target Margin, and others. Her debut novel, Vladimir, was published in February 2022 and has appeared on several "best of" lists.
