Broadway's SIX has announced that all of its current cast of queens will be abdicating their places in the Tudor pop musical. Original cast members Brittney Mack, Andrea Macasaet, and Samantha Pauly will all play their final performances December 4 at the recently renamed Lena Horne Theatre.

Mack announced her departure on Instagram as did Andrea Macasaet prior to an official announcement. New casting will be announced November 7.

The caption reads that the current "paragons of royalty" including Bre Jackson, Brennyn Lark, and Keri René Fuller—who play Catherine of Aragon, Catherine Parr, and Jane Seymour, respectively—along with original Broadway alternates Mallory Maedke, Nicole Kyoung-Mi Lambert, Courtney Mack, and Keirsten Hodgens "will be slaying performances for another month."

The show's press reps confirmed that December 4 will also be the final performance for Jackson, Lark, Fuller, Maedke, Lambert, Mack, and Hodgens. It's a surprisingly short reign for some of the Queens: Jackson, Lark, and Fuller were welcomed to the cast in July along with new alternates Holli’ Conway and Ayla Ciccone-Burton (the alternates are remaining with the show).

Six, created by Tony winners Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss, follows the six wives of King Henry VIII of England in a historical remix that turns the Tudor royals into pop queens. Marlow and Moss won the 2022 Tony Award for Best Original Score, and the show's costume designer Gabriella Slade took home the award for Best Costume Design.

Six is co-directed by Moss and Jamie Armitage. The production features set design by Emma Bailey, costume design by Gabrielle Slade, lighting design by Tim Deiling, and sound design by Paul Gatehouse. Kenny Wax, Wendy and Andy Barnes, George Stiles, and Kevin McCollum serve as its producers on Broadway.
