At New York City's Edison Ballroom, Prospect Theater Company will hold its Spring Gala May 1 with Ali Ewoldt (The Phantom of the Opera) and Jelani Remy (Back to the Future) co-hosting the evening.
Presenting the awards will be Tony and Grammy winner Renée Elise Goldsberry (Hamilton), Telly Leung (Aladdin), Glen Pannell, and Molly Smith. The second annual Muse Awards will be given to actor and activist George Takei, educator and Tony and Grammy nominee Michael McElroy, theatre education leader Jim Hoare, and composer, lyricist, music producer, and activist Georgia Stitt.
Celebrating this year's four honorees, the evening will kick off with cocktails at 6 PM. Dinner will follow at 7 PM with awards and entertainment set to commence at 8:30 PM.
Performers will be announced at a later date.
Serving on the committee for this year's gala are co-chairs Jane Abramson, Tira Harpaz, and Jason Ma.
