A host of Broadway favorites join the American Pops Orchestra for a one-night-only concert February 3 at Howard University's Cramton Auditorium in Washington, D.C.
Entitled Broadway's Leading Men: A Musical Celebration!, the 7:30 PM concert features the talents of Tony winner Christian Borle (Some Like it Hot!, Something Rotten!), Jacob Gutierrez (Aladdin, Dear Edward), Christopher Jackson (Hamilton, And Just Like That..), Telly Leung (Warrior, Aladdin), Tony nominee Norm Lewis (The Phantom of the Opera, The Gershwins' Porgy and Bess), Alexis Michelle (RuPaul's Drag Race, Dragnificent), Tony nominee Matthew Morrison (Glee, The Light in the Piazza), Nic Rouleau (Book of Mormon, Uncoupled), Tony winner André De Shields (Hadestown, Ain’t Misbehavin’), and Tony winner Paulo Szot (& Juliet, South Pacific).
Attendees can expect to hear a mix of Broadway hits. The performance will also be filmed live for a subsequent TV broadcast with details to be announced.
