From the director of The Greatest Showman, the biopic is an animalistic rendering of Williams' life story.

The premiere of Better Man, the new semi-biographical film from director Michael Gracey (The Greatest Showman) is just around the corner, and a wild trailer is now available for view.

Centering on British pop singer Robbie Williams, the film was co-written, co-produced, and directed by Gracey as an inventive new way to portray the inner life of a biopic figure. In the film, Williams is portrayed as a chimpanzee with CGI, performed by Jonno Davies using motion capture.

Depicted as such due to his feeling "less evolved" than other people, the film will premiere in select theatres December 25, with wide release kicking in January 10, 2025. Better Man premiered at the 51st Telluride Film Festival.

An English pop superstar, Williams found fame as a member of the 1990s pop group Take That before launching a solo career, which has included seven U.K. number one singles, and 13 U.K. #1 albums, six of which are among the Top 100 best selling albums in U.K. history.
