The production will be helmed by CSC artistic director Brian Kulick with original music by Duncan Sheik, the Tony-winning composer of Spring Awakening.
Performances are currently scheduled for Dec. 7-Jan. 24, 2016.
Tony winner Pinkins' performance in Rasheeda Speaking, opposite Dianne Wiest, saw her nominated for Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Awards. She won her Tony for her work in Jelly's Last Jam.
