McBroom will hit the stage at 54 Below on Sept. 30 and Oct. 1 in a show that will feature previously unheard songs from her personal songwriter’s trunk, plus music by some of her favorite writers including Leonard Cohen, Judy Collins, Fran Landesman, John Bucchino, Jacques Brel and more. Music direction is by Michele Brourman. McBroom's song "Errol Flynn," which she wrote about her father, was recently featured on NPR’s "Songs We Love," as well as other music the current season of "True Detective".
McBroom’s songs have been recorded by Leanne Rimes, Barry Manilow, Judy Collins, Barbara Cook, Anne Murray, Harry Belafonte, Betty Buckley, Stephanie Mills and The Manhattan Transfer, among others.
