OPENING
June 16: The Public Theatre kicks off its summer tradition of free Shakespeare in the Park with The Tempest, which began performances in Central Park's outdoor Delacorte Theater on May 27. The classic tale of love and revenge stars Academy Award nominee Sam Waterson, marking his 13th Shakespearean role with the theatre. June 18: Joshua Harmon's new play Significant Other premieres Off-Broadway with Former Spring Awakening student Gideon Glick in the lead role of a gay bachelor looking for love in the city. June 18: "Sex and the City" and "The Good Wife" star Chris Noth takes on Christopher Marlow's title role in Doctor Faustus at Classic Stage Company, playing the man who sells his soul to the devil, but at an unexpected price.
LAST CHANCE
June 14: The Visit, the new Kander and Ebb musical starring two-time Tony winner Chita Rivera, ends its run. Catch this unique show, a daring mix of dark and dramatic storytelling, before it takes its final Broadway bow.
June 14: Off-Broadway's MCC Theatre concludes its extended run of Permission by Hand to God playwright Rob Askins. The laugh-out-loud, highly cheeky comedy explores two devout couples' attempts at rekindling romance while remaining true to their faith; starring Justin Bartha ("The Hangover") and Emmy nominee Elizabeth Reaser ("Grey's Anatomy").
June 21: The 2015 Tony winner for Best Revival, David Hare's Skylight, about two former lovers who reunite over a cold London evening, will play its final performance. Carey Mulligan and Bill Nighy reprise their critically acclaimed West End performances.

June 21: Join the crowds of New York theatregoers hopping on the train to New Jersey to catch Paper Mill Playhouse's acclaimed production of Ever After, a new musical take on "Cinderella" directed and choreographed by three-time Tony Award winner Kathleen Marshall.
June 21: The York Theatre Company's production of the new musical Cagney will end its Off-Broadway run. The story follows legendary Hollywood tough guy James Cagney, directed by Bill Castellino and featuring choreography by 2015 Tony nominee Joshua Bergasse.
SPECIAL EVENTS
June 10-14: French actress Marion Cotillard, who played Luisa in the film version of the Broadway musical Nine, plays the title role in the dramatic oratorio Joan of Arc at the Stake with the New York Philharmonic.
June 15: The Theatre Development Fund's Gala will feature special guest performances by Jonathan Groff, Jan Maxwell and Laura Osnes. The funds raised at the dinner and cocktail reception will benefit TDF's education and engagement programs.
June 19: Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett continue their musical collaboration with four concerts at Radio City Music Hall.
