The Broadway Shark Tank has announced the six shows that will be presented in the second iteration of their program. Launched earlier this year, the initiative puts new shows in front of industry experts and potential backers (and it's inspired by the ABC reality show Shark Tank). 

Presenting this year will be A Hanukkah Carol or Gelt Trip The Musical—with music by Aaron Kenny, lyrics by Rob Berliner, and a book by Harrison Bryan; Mixed Messages by Evan Edwards; Rostock—with music, lyrics, and a book by Don Alden; She Sings Me Home—with music, lyrics, and a book by Artemis Montague; The Goree All-Girls String Band—with music by Artie Sievers, lyrics by Jenny Stafford and Artie Sievers, and a book by Jenny Stafford; and The Worlds Cassette Library—with music by Mike Nappi, and lyrics and a book by Mike Nappi, Max Sangerman, and Sam Durant-Hunter.

Each show will get eight minutes total to talk about the project and present a performance. Following the presentations, the audience will vote on their favorite, with the winner getting a one-year ICON membership (which includes access to free rehearsal space) to Open Jar Studios. An audience member will also win a one-year ICON membership, with both memberships sponsored by Gignition—The Creative Artist Database.

The panels of industry leaders will be Tony-winning producers Daryl Roth, Jim Kierstead, and Richard Winkler.
