Taking place over two months this spring, 20 productions will be presented across the city.

Beginning March 1, TeatroFest NYC 2023 will begin its city-wide, two-month presentation of theatre, dance, music, and conversations with Latiné artists. The Alliance of Teatros Latinos NY presents the festival which will feature 20 productions and 210 performances across at least nine Latiné theatre venues through April 30.

The Alliance of Teatros Latinos NY includes IATI Theatre, INTAR Theatre, Pregones/PRTT, Repertorio Español, Teatro Círculo, Teatro LATEA, Teatro SEA, and Thalia Spanish Theatre which have announced productions that will be featured as part of the festival.

Teatro SEA's Artistic Director Dr. Manual Morán said, "When we say Latino theatre for all, we mean it. Productions in Spanish, in English, bilingual, for all audiences, including our children and youth."

TeatroFest NYC 2023 is a powerful collaboration among the leading and most prestigious Latiné theater companies in New York City, who together have won numerous Obie, Drama Desk, ACE, HOLA and other awards and Mayoral commendations during more than 50 years developing and producing exciting, original new works and classic Spanish dramas by Latiné performing arts professionals, seen by tens of thousands of New York City general audiences and schoolchildren.

TeatroFest NYC 2023 is sponsored by The NYC Mayor’s Office of Media and Entertainment (MOME), AARP New York, The Hispanic Federation, and Radio Drama Network, with support from the NYC Department of Cultural Affairs in partnership with the NYC Council, the New York State Council on the Arts, Governor Kathy Hochul, the New York State Legislature, and additional private institutional and individual donors.
