Critics have begun to share their thoughts on the world premiere of Out of Time, a production from National Asian American Theatre Company which began previews at The Public February 15. The show officially opened March 1 and will run through March 13 at The Public's Martinson Hall.
Cast members Mia Katigbak, Glenn Kubota, Page Leong, Natsuko Ohama, and Rita Wolf perform five new monologues from playwrights Jaclyn Backhaus, Sam Chanse, Mia Chung, Naomi Iizuka, and Anna Ouyang Moench. The monologues, performed by actors all over the age of 60, explore themes of age, memory, parenthood, and identity.
