Film & TV News Patti LuPone Will Star in Marvel's WandaVision Spinoff Agatha: Coven of Chaos

The Tony winner isn't the only Broadway alum joining the series starring Kathryn Hahn.

WandaVision spinoff series Agatha: Coven of Chaos is adding Broadway talent to its cast. Patti LuPone will star in the upcoming Marvel series, which features Kathryn Hahn reprising her role of Agatha Harkness, on Disney+.

Deadline first reported the news that three-time Tony winner has joined the series. Also starring will be Broadway alums Ali Ahn (The Heidi Chronicles) and Maria Dizzia (In the Next RoomMacbeth). Might the three actors being playing witches in the show's titular coven? A Marvel representative declined to comment for Deadline.

The cast will also include Joe Locke, Aubrey Plaza, Sasheer Zamata, and an expected reprisal of the role of Dottie by Emma Caulfield Ford. Jac Schaeffer, the creator of WandaVision, serves as writer and executive producer.

Hahn has also starred on Broadway in Boeing-Boeing. WandaVision also co-starred Paul Bettany, currently making his Broadway debut in The Collaboration at the Samuel J. Friedman Theatre.
