Off-Broadway News Lucas Hnath's A Simulacrum Extends Off-Broadway at Atlantic Theater Company

The new play from the Doll's House Part 2 playwright is a the second collaboration between Hnath and illusionist Steve Cuiffo.

A Simulacrum, the newest play from Tony nominee Lucas Hnath, has extended its Off-Broadway run at Atlantic Theater Company. The production, which officially opened June 14 after beginning performances May 25, will now continue through July 9.

A metaplay, A Simulacrum explores when illusionist Steve Cuiffo showed Hnath a series of magic tricks while the pair were collaborating on Dana H. The piece stars Cuiffo, and features direction by Hnath.

A Simulacrum features scenic design by Louisa Thompson, costume design by Qween Jean, lighting design by Tyler Micoleau, and sound design by Mikhail Fiksel.
