International News Linda Lavin to Make London Debut With Solo Concert Love Notes

The Tony winner will perform songs by George Gershwin, Cole Porter, and Antônio Carlos Jobim.

Tony winner Linda Lavin will make her London debut with her concert Love Notes at Crazy Coqs. She will play 7 PM shows September 28 and 30.

The stage and screen actor will perform songs by George Gershwin, Cole Porter, and Antônio Carlos Jobim, while recounting stories from her career. Accompanying Lavin will be a quartet of jazz musicians, including music director Billy Stritch on the piano and jazz violinist Aaron Weinstein.

The six-time Tony nominee has been starring on the Broadway stage for the last six decades, playing in the original productions of The Riot Act, It's A Bird... It's A Plane.. It's Superman, Something Different, Broadway Bound, and more. On the small screen, she has has starred in Alice and B Positive, and made appearances in Netflix's Santa Clarita Diet and The Good Wife.

The cabaret venue's season will continue with pianist and singer Stritch performing a new show highlighting the music of Broadway composer Cy Coleman.
