Soho Playhouse will present Julia Masli's one-person show Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha May 15–June 8. True to its title, the show is a comedy from Masli, a trained clown who, while using a bronze leg and a handbell, promises to "eradicate all New Yorkers’ woes." Opening night is set for May 18.
Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha first had an acclaimed run at the 2023 Edinburgh Festival Fringe, where it had to add extra performances to meet demand. It then had a run in London at the Soho Theatre. Prior to its NYC run, Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha will play Australia April 9–21 at The International Comedy Festival in Melbourne.
Masli's previous shows include Legs and Choosh!, the latter of which was about a migrant's struggle in America. The performer is based in London.
Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha is co-directed by Masli and Kim Noble. The design team features sound designer Alessio Festuccia, lighting designer Lily Woodford, sound tech Jonny Woolley, and costume designers Alice Wedge, Annika Thiems, and David Curtis-Ring.
The show is produced by Impatient Productions, Seaview, Wessex Grove, Sue Wagner and John Johnson with Overture.
