Off-Broadway's new revival of Kenneth Lonergan's Hold On to Me Darling began performances at the Lucille Lortel Theatre September 24 ahead of an October 16 opening, and the production has announced a couple of options for purchasing affordable tickets.
Neil Pepe is directing the revival. The 13-week limited run is set for a final performance December 22.
Film star Adam Driver stars as country music icon Strings McCrane, who abandons the limelight to return to his small Tennessee hometown after the death of his mother. Joining Driver in the company are Heather Burns as Nancy, Adelaide Clemens as Essie, Keith Nobbs as Jimmy, CJ Wilson as Duke, and Frank Wood as Mitch.
The production has partnered with TodayTix to offer $40 lottery tickets, which will open for entries on the TodayTix app at 12 AM ET each Sunday during the show's run. Entrants will have the opportunity to enter for a chance to win up to two tickets for the upcoming week of performances. The lottery will close at 1 PM ET the day prior to the performance.
A digital cancellation line will also be offered on the TodayTix app. Same-day tickets will be released on a first-come, first-served basis, beginning at 4 PM ET and concluding at 6 PM.
The creative team also includes scenic designer Walt Spangler, costume designers Suttirat Larlarb and Lizzie Donelan, lighting designer Tyler Micoleau, and sound designer David Van Tiegham. Wagner Johnson Productions is general managing. Casting is by The Telsey Office's Will Cantler and Karyn Casl.
