The album will be made available the same day a filmed performance of the Off-Broadway production arrives on Disney+.

Ghostlight Records will release an original cast recording of Trevor: The Musical June 24, set to coincide with the previously announced arrival of a filmed performance from its Off-Broadway run at Stage 42 on Disney+. 

Kurt Deutsch and Matt Deitchman produced the 19-track album which includes orchestrations by Greg Pliska. For customers who pre-order or pre-save the digital album, “Overture/Do You Know” and “On With the Show" will be made available for early streaming.

Trevor: The Musical features a book and lyrics by Dan Collins with music by Julianne Wick Davis, direction by Marc Bruni, and choreography by Josh Prince. Based on an original story by Celeste Lecesne and Peggy Rajski's 1995 Oscar-winning short film, the musical follows 13-year-old Trevor, who struggles to navigate his own identity and determine how he fits in a challenging world on a journey of self-discovery.

The Off-Broadway run featured Holden William Hagelberger from Sugarland, Texas, in the title role, alongside Mark Aguirre, Aaron Alcaraz, Ava Briglia, Sammy Dell, Tyler Joseph Gay, Ellie Kim, Colin Konstanty, Brigg Liberman, Diego Lucano, Alyssa Emily Marvin, Isabel Medina, Echo Deva Picone, Dan Rosales, Aryan Simhadri, Yasmeen Sulieman, Sally Wilfert, Aeriel Williams, and Jarrod Zimmerman.

The production also featured scenic design by Donyale Werle, costume design by Mara Blumenfeld, lighting design by Peter Kaczorowski, sound design by Brian Ronan and Cody Spencer, music direction by Matt Deitchman, and orchestrations by Greg Pliska with casting by Tara Rubin Casting. Producers were Roy Furman, John Ambrosino, Josie Bray, and Mark Woods.

The filmed version is directed by Robin Mishkin Abrams and produced by RadicalMedia. Jon Kamen, Dave Sirulnick, Meredith Bennett, and Jonathan Meyers serve as executive producers.
