Theatrelovers are invited to a preview of what the winter season has in store with the Theater Talks: Black Theater Winter Preview at the Schomburg Center January 28.

The evening, hosted by Tony-winning producer Ron Simons, will include performances by the cast of Choir Boy and the upcoming Broadway production of Ain't Too Proud: The Life and Times of the Temptations, along with talks by writers Suzan-Lori Parks (White Noise), Charly Evon Simpson (Behind The Sheet), Loy A. Webb (The Light), and Jeremy O. Harris (Daddy)—all set to be represented Off-Broadway this year.

A theatre marketplace featuring discounts and production and performance information from over a dozen theater companies will also be available.

The two-hour event will begin at 6:30 PM and is produced by NYC Black Theater Network and Walk Tall Girl Productions/Black Theater Online. Tickets are free and available on EventBrite.com.

The Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture is located at 515 Malcolm X Boulevard in Manhattan.
