Broadway Votes is collaborating with Joy to the Polls on a free concert featuring a host of Broadway favorites that want to encourage theatre fans to get out and vote this November. The concert will be held September 29 from 11 AM to 1 PM in Times Square at 43rd Street and 7th Avenue.
Seth Rudetsky and James Wesley Jackson will co-host the event, which will include performances from Julie Benko, Norbert Leo Butz, Lilli Cooper, Sis Thee Doll, Ana Gasteyer, Ta'Nika Gibson, and Beth Leavel, with more to be announced soon.
The concert is part of nonpartisan Broadway Votes' Get Out the Vote effort, which will include curtain call speeches, social media collaborations, and more concerts from such shows as Hadestown, The Outsiders, Water for Elephants, Once Upon a Mattress, Suffs, and more.
