The tribute will be hosted at the American Airlines Theatre with an all-star line-up of participants that will also include Christine Andreas, Harry Belafonte, Marge Champion, Chris Colfer, Arlene Dahl, Blythe Danner, Raúl Esparza, Michael Feinstein, Mark Hamill, Gregory Harrison, Judith Ivey, Chris Matthews, Liz Smith and Treat Williams.
Bergen, who passed away last September at age 84, had a career that spanned more than six decades in films, TV, Broadway musicals and concerts. She earned a Tony nomination for Best Actress in a revival of Stephen Sondheim's Follies. Her other Broadway credits included Cabaret and Six Dance Lessons in Six Weeks.
She also received Emmy Award nominations for her work in TV's "Desperate Housewives," "Playhouse 90," "The Winds of War" and "War and Remembrance," and also starred in feature films such as the classic "Cape Fear."
The event is produced by Rex Reed and Michael Alden with creative consultant Deborah Grace Winer.
A selct number of tickets will be available to the public on March 26.
