Andy Mientus and Jon-Michael Reese have joined the cast for an upcoming public reading of the new Adam Gwon musical All the World's a Stage. The cast will also feature Siri Howard and Eliza Pagelle as previously announced.

Keen Company Artistic Director Jonathan Silverstein is directing the readings, set to play the South Carolina New Play Festival August 8 and 9. Both performances are currently sold out, but a wait list is available at SCNPF.org.

The new musical centers on a small-town math teacher who finds himself coaching a misfit student for the State Thespian Competition, only to find himself at odds between an outspoken boyfriend and a conservative high school secretary that could wreck his career. Keen Company commissioned the piece after previously producing an Off-Broadway revival of his musical Ordinary Days.

Andrea Grody is music directing the presentations.

The festival is running August 8-11, with other scheduled readings including Donnetta Lavinia Grays' The Josh White Project, Jake Brasch's A Trip Around the Sun, Sophie Boyce and Veronica Mansour's The Dark Lady, and Melvin Tunstall II and Gregory Dean Borowsky's Stuntboy. Festival programming also includes an outdoor variety stage, a day of lectures from industry leaders, and a cabaret performance from Broadway favorite and South Carolina native Phillip Boykin. The festival is led by Executive Director West Hyler and Artistic Director Shelley Butler.
