Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty's Anastasia gets a one-night-only NYC concert performance via Manhattan Concert Productions February 17 at Lincoln Center's David Geffen Hall. The cast is by Christy Altomare, reprising her performance from the musical's original pre-Broadway and Broadway engagements.

Also reprising their performances from the original Broadway company are John Bolton as Vlad and Mary Beth Peil as Dowager Empress. They're joined by Jordan Donica as Gleb, Alex Joseph Grayson as Dmitry, and Rachel York as Countess Lily, along with an ensemble comprising Alex Aquilino, Sissy Bell, Lauren Blackman, Janet Dickinson, Brett-Marco Glauser, Thomas Henke, Ken Krugman, Victoria Madden, and Shina Ann Morris.

The performance will also feature special appearances from New York City Ballet principal dancers Tiler Peck, Roman Mejia, and Chun Wai Chan, to perform the musical's Swan Lake sequence.

Sarah Hartmann and Tom Murray are directing the concert, which also features a 400-member chorus and the New York City Chamber Orchestra.

Adapted from the animated film, Anastasia tracks a brave young woman in search of the mystery of her past, which might just include Russian royalty from the twilight of the Russian Empire. Featuring a book by Terrence McNally, music by Flaherty, and lyrics by Ahrens, the score includes such favorites as "Once Upon a December," "Journey to the Past," "My Petersburg," and more. The film released in 1997, with the Broadway production premiering at the Broadhurst Theatre in 2017 and continuing through 2019.

Manhattan Concert Productions' Broadway series has previously brought semi-staged concerts of Children of EdenRagtimeTitanicThe Secret GardenParadeCrazy for You, and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat to Geffen Hall.
