It is the day-o fans have been waiting for. Beetlejuice, a viral sensation that met an untimely end due to pandemic and production contract woes, is back from the dead. Two-time Tony nominee Alex Brightman will step back into the role of the titular trickster, reviving everyone's favorite unpredictable demon from hell. 

Brightman, who earned a Tony nomination originating the role, will reincarnate the ghost with the most at the production's new home, the Marquis Theatre, beginning April 8. Full casting to be announced scarily soon. 

Beetlejuice tells the story of Lydia Deetz, a strange and unusual teenager whose life changes when she meets a recently deceased couple, and Beetlejuice, a demon with a thing for stripes. When Lydia calls on Beetlejuice to scare away anything with a pulse, this double crossing specter unleashes a (nether)world of pandemonium. Based on the smash-hit 1988 Tim Burton film of the same name, Beetlejuice was nominated for eight Tony awards in its initial engagement at the Winter Garden Theatre.
