ABOUT YOU:

We are looking for in-person interns for the upcoming winter / spring season! Exciting opportunities await as we tackle in-person, virtual, and hybrid events, and are eager for you to join our team and help us get there.

We currently have multiple internships available in full-time and part-time formats:

  • Event Production
  • Creative (Design & Execution)
  • Business Development
  • Operations

RESPONSIBILITIES FOR EVENT PRODUCTION INTERN MAY INCLUDE:

  • Supporting the events team in day-to-day operations as well as before, during, and after events
  • Performing research on venues, vendors, entertainment, etc.
  • Tracking the ordering, receiving and packing of event supplies
  • Joining us on-site at events for live assistance on projects!
  • Contributing to the team dynamic by exploring what’s cool and keeping us up to speed on the hottest trends in the industry!
  • Assisting with miscellaneous office work
  • Assisting with research on audiovisual vendors or tech companies to enhance our footprint in the virtual and in-person space
  • Assisting backstage on our events through show-calling, rehearsals, video production (virtual green room management opportunities as well)

RESPONSIBILITIES FOR CREATIVE INTERN MAY INCLUDE:

  • Assisting with miscellaneous office work
  • Assisting with creative proposal process for potential clients
  • Supporting the creative team in day-to-day operations
  • Provide research and ideation on strategic and creative events / projects
  • Performing research on venues, vendors, entertainment, etc.
  • Join us onsite at events for live assistance on projects!
  • Contribute to the team dynamic by exploring what’s cool and keeping us up to speed on the hottest trends in the industry!
  • Much, much more!

RESPONSIBILITIES FOR BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT INTERN MAY INCLUDE:

  • Identify prospective new clients
  • Research events and participating companies, speakers + sponsors
  • Create spreadsheets to compile information about new prospective clients for solicitation
  • Investigate on LinkedIn and other social media platforms to identify information mentioned above
  • Sit in on some meetings with new clients to see how the pitch + biz dev life cycle works
  • Assist with tasks, as needed, in support of business proposal creation
  • Note: Proficiency with Mac, Keynote, Excel and Google Suite. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and familiarity with LinkedIn are not required, but a plus.

RESPONSIBILITIES FOR OPERATIONS INTERN MAY INCLUDE:

  • Assisting with miscellaneous office/facilities tasks (organizing supplies, sorting packages and mail, recycling initiatives, managing snacks and inventory, etc.)
  • Helping plan, prep, set up, and clean up staff events like in-office birthday parties and celebrations, staff meetings, and off-site happy hours
  • Manage calendar invites for staff meetings and Ops Team meetings, taking notes and helping with action items as-needed
  • Assist the Operations Teams with ad hoc projects (researching DEI, sustainability, and volunteerism efforts, honing our current systems and project management tools, etc.)
  • Intro to the HR world including people management and recruiting, cultivating culture, and daily office operations
  • Note: This role will work in our midtown Manhattan office 2-3 days per week

*Internship is available for credit but not mandatory and in-person at our office in NYC is preferred (but please indicate if you can only do remote in email)

Compensation is offered as a one-time stipend: $1,500 for part-time (20 hours/week) or $3,000 for full time (35-40 hours/week)
