A hybrid musical-documentary now available on demand, Rudy! A Documusical follows Giuliani's tumultuous journey from America's mayor to Trump surrogate and laughingstock.

Rudy! A Documusical releases for streaming on demand April 18, and is now available on all major platforms. Get a first look at the film with a clip digging into the history of crime in Rudy Giuliani's family tree above.

The movie, a documentary-musical hybrid, tracks the rise and fall of Giuliani from being named America's mayor to becoming a disgraced Trump surrogate and laughingstock. Inspired by Giuliani's own love for musical theatre, the film's unusual format sees a mix of unscripted interviews with onstage performances featuring original music from Jason Howland (Paradise SquareLittle Women), William Jay Stein, and Michael A. Rosen.

Written and directed by Jed Rothstein, the work made its world premiere at the 2022 Tribeca Film Festival. The cast features a number of Broadway alum, including Blakely Slaybaugh (Back to the Future) as Rudy Giuliani and Ben Michael (Paradise Square) as Harold Giuliani.

Rounding out the onstage ensemble are Sarah Bowden, Ana Gabrila Chiriboga, Colin Cunliffe, Darnell Jenkins, Ashley Matthews, Jay McKenzie, Gabriela Stapula, Yasmeen Sulieman, Sean Watkinson, Alan Wiggins, and Hailee Wright. Choreography is by Sarah O'Gleby (Shucked).
