National Lottery's Big Night of Musicals, which celebrates both West End shows and those touring the U.K., was presented February 27 at Manchester's 12,000-seat AO Arena.

The celebration features Helen George and Darren Lee performing "Shall We Dance" from The King and I; Wicked's "Defying Gravity," performed by Laura Pick; Six's "Haus of Holbein"; The Bodyguard's "I Will Always Love You," sung by Melody Thornton; Shrek the Musical's "I’m a Believer"; Newsies' "King of New York"; a medley of "My Girl," "Get Ready," and "Got to Get Next to You" from Ain't Too Proud—The Life and Times of the Temptations; Nathania Ong's "On My Own" from Les Miserables; "My Shot" from Hamilton; the cast of Matilda performing "Naughty," "Revolting Children," and "When I Grow Up"; the title song from We Will Rock You; and the company of Mamma Mia! singing "Dancing Queen."
The evening also includes a tribute to Tony-winning composer Andrew Lloyd Webber, including interviews with Elaine Paige, Glenn Close, and Michael Ball, who performed the Aspects of Love anthem "Love Changes Everything."
