Daisy Ridley, Naomi Watts, and Clive Owen will play Denmark royalty when Ophelia is released June 28.
In this modern take on Shakespeare’s classic tale, Ophelia faces her own struggles with Prince Hamlet, her adoptive mother's marriage to Claudius, and increasing warfare engulfing the European nation.
The trailer above shows Ridley (Star Wars franchise) as Ophelia, Watts (Mulholland Drive, St. Vincent) as Gertude, and Owen (Old Times, M. Butterfly) as Claudius.

Also starring in Ophelia are George MacKay (The Caretaker at Old Vic) as Hamlet and Tom Felton (Harry Potter series) as Laertes. Ophelia is directed by Claire McCarthy and adapted by Semi Chellas from the book by Lisa Klein.
