54 Below has posted some video clips from original Rent stars Adam Pascal and Anthony Rapp's recent series of shows at the intimate cabaret nightspot. Watch the duo sing a funky arrangement of the Jonathan Larson musical's "Seasons of Love" above.
Pascal and Rapp, who created the roles of (respectively) Roger and Mark in the landmark 1996 musical Rent, returned to 54 Below beginning August 6 with their concert evening titled Celebrating Friendship & History. The encore series of performances, which continued August 6-10 and 13-17, followed a sold-out run in January.
The songlist included tunes from various projects throughout the actors' careers, music that has influenced their lives, and a few of the hits from the Pulitzer Prize-winning Rent.
