Delia Ephron's Left on Tenth gave the holidays a special gift this season.
Partnering with VetTix, FDNY Foundation, and God’s Love We Deliver, the production gave tickets to more than 250 veterans, former FDNY members, and volunteers for the December 29 performance. Additional donations to the groups will be honored at the January 5 performance as well.
Left on Tenth officially opened on Broadway October 23, 2024, after beginning preview performances September 26. The production will continue through February 2, 2025.
Based on Ephron's New York Times best-selling memoir, the play is directed by five-time Tony winner Susan Stroman, and stars Emmy winner Julianna Margulies as Delia and Golden Globe winner Peter Gallagher as Peter. Produced by Daryl Roth, the production plays the James Earl Jones Theatre.
Left on Tenth is a true story about love, hope, and the wonder of second chances. When she least expected it, a surprising connection with a man from her past led Ephron to fall into her own romantic comedy.
Margulies and Gallagher are joined onstage by Peter Francis James (Funny Girl) and Kate MacCluggage (The 39 Steps).
The production also features scenic design by two-time Tony winner Beowulf Boritt, costume design by Tony nominee Jeff Mahshie, lighting design by Tony winner Ken Billington and Itohan Edoloyi, sound design by Jill BC Du Boff, projection design by Jeanette Oi-Suk Yew, wig design by Michael Buonincontro, and animal training by Tony honoree William Berloni Theatrical Animals, Inc.
