Video: Watch Myles Frost Charm With 'Soon as I Get Home From' The Wiz at Miscast22

MCC Theater continues to reach back into its archives to raise funds for the acclaimed Off-Broadway theatre company.

In a recently released video from the 2022 edition of the annual Miscast fundraiser, MJ the Musical Tony winner Myles Frost takes on The Wiz ballad "Soon as I Get Home," performed by the character of Dorothy in the Charlie Smalls-William F. Brown musical. Frost is backed by Nate Brown on guitar, Yuka Tadano on bass, and Dena Tauriello on drums. Musical supervisor Will Van Dyke penned the arrangement.

Frost made history in 2022, becoming the youngest individual actor to win a Tony Award for Best Leading Actor in a Musical. He is currently reprising his work in the title role of MJ the Musical in the London production of the jukebox hit.
