Monday, Sept. 14: Actor, comedian and entertainer Ikechukwu Ufomadu, also known as Ike, performs his intimate evening of comedy, Nightcap at Joe's Pub. The show returns following previously acclaimed performances. Tickets are $12; 9:30 PM.
Tuesday, Sept. 15: Tony Award winner Brian Stokes Mitchell makes his Cafe Carlyle debut in a new show that features Broadway favorites, standards and jazz - continuing through Sept. 26. Wednesday, Sept. 16: Emmy-nominated comedian and composer Daniel Koren hails from Israel but now calls New York City home. In his latest show, which returns to Joe's Pub, he is in search of The Most Important Thing. Koren's work has been featured on Comedy Central's Tosh. O, the Huffington Post and Ryan Seacrest. Tickets $15, 7:30 PM.
Thursday, Sept. 17: For one night only, much of the original cast of the Broadway musical Cry-Baby, which had a short run despite several Tony nominations, reunite onstage at 54 Below to revive the acclaimed score. The concert is set to feature Broadway performers James Snyder (If/Then), Elizabeth Stanley (On the Town) and Chester Gregory (Sister Act), among others. Friday, Sept. 18: Joe's Pub's revival of Dixie McCall's Patterns for Living kicks off a year-long retrospective, in celebration of the 25th anniversary of Mx Justin Vivian Bond’s prolific career as a performing artist, writer, activist and transgender icon. Stay out late for a good cause! Cabaret Cares kicks off its fundraising season at the Metropolitan Room with Living, Loving and Laughter, a benefit to help children and youth with HIV and AIDS through the charity Help is On the Way Today. The organization's founder, producer Joseph Macchia, invites some of his favorite performers to the stage, including Stacy Sullivan, Lennie Watts and Doreen Montalvo, among others. Saturday, Sept. 19: Catch everybody's favorite politically incorrect air hostess with the mostest, Pam Ann, before she jets off on her U.K. and London West End run. Returning to Joe's Pub for two nights only, Pam Ann is joined by transgender characters Caitlyn and Gloria from the Australian airline Qantas. Tickets are $30; 11:30 PM.
