The Roads to Home, by Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Horton Foote, officially opens October 5 after previews that began September 13 at Cherry Lane Theatre. The play marks the first production of Primary Stages' 2016-17 season.

The cast features Tony winner Harriet Harris, Drama Desk winner Devon Abner and Tony nominee Hallie Foote, the late playwright's daughter.

The Roads to Home is a trilogy of related one-act plays first seen Off Off-Broadway over 30 years ago. Michael Wilson, who directed Foote’s The Trip to Bountiful on Broadway, directs.

The cast also includes Dan Bittner (The Leftovers), Lortel Award nominee Rebecca Brooksher (The Good Wife) and Matt Sullivan (Standing on Ceremony, Macbeth).

The production features scenic design by Jeff Cowie, costume design by David C. Woolard, lighting design by David Lander, original music and sound design by John Gromada and casting by Stephanie Klapper Casting.
