Are you ready to get shucked?

Broadway's Shucked officially opened at the Nederlander Theatre April 4. In celebration, Playbill tested the shucking skills of the show's cast, creative team, and esteemed guests. Who could shuck corn faster: a member of Shucked or a red carpet celebrity? The challenge was simple: Whoever could shuck a single ear of corn the fastest wins for their team!

Everyone from Kristin Chenoweth to Tariq the Corn Kid tried their hand, with a variety of shucking techniques on display for the red carpet.

The farm-fresh musical comedy proved to be a buzzy opening night ticket, with country music star Kasey Musgraves, comedy icon Rachel Dratch, and plenty of Broadway stalwarts showing up in support. Read more of Playbill's coverage from Shucked's opening night here
